Infinitesimal, 2020
Infinitesimal is a reflection on the passage of time, and how the tiny events of everyday life, or their absence, invariably amounts to unmanageable dimensions. I chose the metaphor of water and wind, both prevalent in Iceland, to illustrate this idea, as the water fills ups the facade all the way to the ceiling. It was exhibited at Harpa Concert Hall, Reykjavik, Iceland, 7-10 February 2019, as part of the Tiny/Massive festival.Infinitesimal was built using the Processing environment. Generative sound based on code from Henk Lasschuit, "Thunderstorm".
