Time, 2020
I made Time in early winter 2018. It was the end of my second year living in Sweden, and the darkness of the snowless days had hit me again, a little bit like this week. I had spent a long time working on algorithm that was very mathematical and not visually pleasing at all, related to physics simulations.
After being close to abandon the whole idea, I let go of trying to understand every detail, and start playing with colors, breaking parts of the code, and making triangles around a circle, as if the triangles were drawn by the hands of a clock.
By paintings the triangles with very low opacity, the color accumulates over time, creating the palette of the final drawing.
